Liquid Management Reflux Column
Another
high quality reflux product constructed using ONLY 1.6mm thick 304 Stainless
and Copper using TIG welding and high grade 45% silver solder (lead free).
Used with the appropriate licence to produce alternative fuel ethanol,
distil ultra pure water or essential oils from flowers or herbs.
Producing 90% plus pure distillate effortlessly, you have physical control
over the actual reflux rate. Closing the valve sends all condensed distillate
back to the centre of the column above the packing material. This makes
it easy to adjust the reflux rate, with minimal adjustments to water flow
rate or heat source. You simply control the rate at which distillate is
taken off from the collector, anything that doesn't pass though the valve
refluxes continuously, being purified constantly.
This is a tried and tested design, made in Australia, and handcrafted
to provide decades of reliable use. This range of columns has had extra
finishing attention, both stainless steel and copper surfaces have been
buffed to a highly polished finish, so this column's looks are just as
impressive as it's performance! Comes with stainless packing material,
water hosing & hose clamps, and a rod for packing material removal.

Carbon Filter Tubes
Sick and tired of plastic filter tubes that leak and crack? Want to
turn budget vodka into high quality vodka that will impress your friends,
or before you add your flavour essences?
This Brand new Carbon Filter tube is constructed with 304 stainless steel
and is the perfect addition to your high quality brewing kit. Tig welded
and silver soldered together, it features a 1/4" 316 stainless reduced-bore
ball-valve that is removeable for easy cleaning, and also comes with an
o-ring sealed, chemical grade nylon bung for the top to easily seal the
unit with no leaks, and adjustable bracket. 2 different height adjustable
brackets available- one for screwing to a wall or a straight tanged bracket
suitable to be temporarily clamped to the edge of a bench. *Please nominate
which style bracket you require when you purchase* or you can have both
for $15 extra.
To use, place a small amount of filter paper in the tube and pour activated
carbon into top, seal unit, Fill your reservoir bucket on a shelf above
the unit, and place a collection bucket underneath, adjust the flow to
a slow drip. Come back later and it's all done!
This unit is professionally constructed, designed with a long trouble
free lifetime in mind - hand it down through the years!. Polished to an
almost mirror finish, the only maintenance ever required is a rinse out
after use, and an occasional light polish with a soft rag!

Wall or Bench Bracket
With the Carbon filter and the Vessel Independent Shorty still, a choice
of two brackets is available to clamp the 2" equipment.
From left to right,
- The straight tang clamp to allow temporary clamping to a benchtop with
a G-clamp, or
- The bent tang bracket for permanent wall attachment, pre-drilled with
screw holes.
Your choice comes supplied with a filter or vessel independent column,
or sell separately.
