20 plate & 30 plate bsp versions available. These heat exchangers quickly chill wort straight from the boil to yeast pitching temps.
Less yeast lag time means less risk of infection, and a better fermentation

Counterflow Heat Exchanger

9 metres of 3/8th Copper tubing inside 1/2" clear PVC, this heat exchanger works by running the hot wort and cooling water in opposite directions without mixing them. Heat is exchanged between the two dropping the temperature of the wort quickly.
Higher flow restriction means that this style of heat exchanger is less suitable for gravity feed & more suited for use with a pump.
