We
provide a weekly filling service for customer owned CO2 bottles.
Below are a few guidelines to
ensure we are able to fill your bottle for you, please call us if
you are unsure about any of it.
Bottles are filled once a week only, & need to be dropped off
at the shop by Wednesday close of business and will be
available for collection Friday morning onwards.

Please follow these 3 Steps before bringing your bottle in:
- Disconnect
any equipment from your bottle, it will not be accepted with a
regulator attached.
- Please
vent your bottle completely, bottles are filled by weight and
must be completely empty to be filled safely.
- PLEASE
CHECK THE DATE STAMP TO ENSURE THE BOTTLE IS IN DATE.
To be filled, your bottle MUST;
- be
an actual CO2 bottle, ie not for another gas.
- be
within 10 years of a valid test date (displayed as MM / YY, with
a testing station stamp - see below for example)
- be
in good physical condition, with no corrosion, deterioration or
damage to the bottle or valve
- be
YOUR property, ie not a rental bottle from a company like BOC,
Supergas, Air Liquide.
- Not
be displaying any stickers or tags indicating that it is currently
in use as a fire extinguisher*.
For
regulatory and safety reasons, if a bottle fails to meet these criteria,
or is otherwise unsuitable for any reason it will not be accepted
for filling.
*Fire extinguishers in service are subject to more
stringent regulations and we do not fill them.
If a fire-extinguisher bottle has been re-tested
& converted for beverage gas use it should be re-sprayed
grey and marked accordingly, so it is not mistaken for a fire extinguisher
in case of emergency. If your converted bottle still displays markings
indicating that it is a fire extinguisher, it will not be accepted
for filling, so please remove all 'fire extinguisher' stickers and
tags from the bottle before presenting it for filling.

Sorry,
but we do not currently fill Sodastream, Ozito or other similar
'valveless' bottles that require adaption to fit a regulator.

The
bottle pictured left is displaying a valid test station date stamp.
In this case the bottle was last tested in December (12th month)
of 2007, by test station number 494.
CO2 'beverage-gas' bottles require testing every ten years, so this
stamp is valid until the end December 2017.
(We can arrange re-testing of your bottle if required.)
IT
IS A CRIMINAL OFFENSE TO ALTER OR FALSIFY TESTING STATION STAMPS
IN ANY WAY.
If there is any question of the validity of the stamps on your bottle
it will not be accepted.
